The Dean of this School is Mrs GLADYS NJAMNSI charged with the responsibility of ensuring and co-coordinating all departments attached under the School. The Dean ensures that courses offered in this school through the various departments meet up with the standards required by the National and International education community.
The school of Home Economic, Tourism and Hospitality Managements is made up of five departments namely; Department of Bakery and Food Technology, Department of Tourism and Travel Agency Management, Department of Hospitality Management, Department of Textile and Fashion Design, and Department of Travel Agency, Tourism and Operations Management.
The objective of this school is to enable graduates from the school to be productive and innovative in the job market.
With the growing nature of tourism, hotels, textiles and frequent travels across boarders, students of this school are expected to meet up with these challenges taking into consideration the complex and diversified nature of people or customers drawn from different parts of the world with diversified behaviors.
Students from the Departments of Bakery and Food Technology must be able to adapt to the multiple kinds of fast food required by consumers in modern day time.
Students from this school upon graduation are awarded Higher Diploma Degree (HND) from Cameroons Ministry of Higher Education and Professional Bachelor of Technology Degree (B-Tech) from the University of Dschange.
